Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers the Written Research Consultation, Methods & Analysis Review, paid one-on-one consultation sessions, and paid programs offered by StatGazer LLC. Other custom consulting engagements, including Model Preflight and Manager Desk Read, retain the cancellation and payment terms in their written engagement agreements.

2. Written research services

For a Written Research Consultation or Methods & Analysis Review, our proposal sets out the scope, required materials, fee, delivery terms, start of work, and the stages and their prices in writing before acceptance or payment. An enquiry does not authorize paid work.

• Before work begins. You may cancel for a full refund.
• After work begins. We refund the uncompleted portion. Any amount retained for work already performed is calculated using the stages and prices agreed before payment, with a written breakdown. We do not introduce cancellation charges or rates after payment.
• If StatGazer cannot complete the agreed work, or misses the agreed delivery date and you cancel. We refund in full, except for completed stages whose prices were agreed in writing before payment and whose agreed deliverables have already been handed to you. We provide a written breakdown. We do not retain fees for undelivered internal work in these cases.
• Changes to delivery. We notify you by email if the agreed delivery terms need to change. A revised delivery date takes effect only if you accept it in writing. If you cancel because we cannot complete the work or have missed the agreed date, the preceding refund rule applies.

Email hello@statgazer.com to cancel. We stop work on receipt of your cancellation. These terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights. Where applicable, a request to begin work during a statutory withdrawal period is agreed separately in writing; submitting an enquiry or paying an invoice does not by itself waive those rights.

3. Scheduled consultations and training

• One-on-one paid consultations. Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund or credit. With less than 24 hours' notice, fees may be retained to cover reserved time, though we will work in good faith where circumstances warrant.
• Training cohorts and scheduled live programs. Cancel or reschedule ten or more business days before the start date for a full refund or a credit toward a future cohort.
• Fewer than ten business days before a cohort or live program. Fees may be partly retained to cover reserved time and preparation; the balance is refunded or credited.
• After the program has started, or for missed sessions. Fees are generally non-refundable, though we will work with you in good faith where circumstances warrant.
• If StatGazer cancels. You may choose a full refund or rescheduling/credit for a later date.

4. Self-paced access

Where a program is sold as self-paced access, the terms are stated at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise, access is refundable within fourteen days of purchase provided the material has not been substantially downloaded or completed.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@statgazer.com with your order details and the reason for the request. We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours.

6. Processing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within ten business days, depending on your payment provider and bank.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The terms that applied at the time of your purchase govern that purchase. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
